The Center offers a limited number of Graduate Fellowships each year in its Graduate Training Program in Liquid Crystal Science and Technology.

Developing the science and technology of liquid crystals is an intrinsically multidisciplinary pursuit, spanning the fields of chemistry, physics, and chemical engineering, the principal academic disciplines of the Center's senior investigators. The Program focuses on interdisciplinary education and training, preparing graduates for careers in this exciting area of materials science and engineering by fostering collaborative research. Highlights of the Program include a one-semester laboratory rotation, mentored teaching opportunities, and a three-month industrial internship.
